Understanding Equity
Equity represents your expected share of the pot based on how often you'll win the hand. If you have 60% equity, you expect to win the pot 60% of the time in the long run.
Pro Tip
Equity doesn't equal profitability! A hand with 30% equity can still be a profitable call if the pot odds are right. Use our Pot Odds Guide to learn more.
